HistoryNicole Miller was a special education teacher for 12 years. She decided to take a break from the classroom and start her own tutoring and advocacy business. Nicole quickly realized that there was a great need for highly trained, experienced reading teachers and her schedule became booked! So instead of deciding to start a waiting list, or turn clients away, she decided to start adding tutors to her team and train them on how to teach struggling readers how to read. Nicole has added tutors who can teach all grades and ability levels K-12. SPEDSA now has tutors in many parts of Greater Sacramento and continuously expanding. SPEDSA tutors also provide online tutoring sessions. Nicole is an Orton-Gillingham reading specialist and now specializes in teaching children with dyslexia how to read.SpecialtiesNicole helped my child with autism and ADHD transition from a non reader to reading at grade level within 2 years.
