Jackie Robinson Academy is a part of the Long Beach Unified School District. The academy conducts classes in foreign languages, including French, Japanese and Spanish. Jackie Robinson Academy offers a range of technologies, including language software, CD-ROMs, Power Macintosh computers and video laser discs to students to support their middle school studies. Located in Long Beach, Calif., the academy operates a variety of departments, such as arts, world languages, instrumental music, chorus, and health and physical education. It has a cafeteria that offers lunch and breakfast to students. Jackie Robinson Academy also provides a special service staff, including a literacy coach, school nurse and security personnel. The academy s sports activities include soccer, field hockey, cross country, tennis, basketball, and track and field.

Went to this school between 1st-8th back in the day with my older brother.Seems they have painted the outside a bit,wonder if they still have the gardening program for the kids still...
