Huntington Holdings Inc., founded in 1987 by Jack B. Corwin, is a private merchant and investment bank exclusively focused on middle-market companies. Chemical Venture Partners (now J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC) provided the original seed capital for the Company. Huntington Holdings specializes in capital formation, mergers, acquisitions, and ownership transfers, as well as strategic business consulting. In 2001, Huntington Securities, LLC was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary to continue the agency side of its business. Since the formation of Huntington Securities, LLC, which encompasses most of its activities, Huntington Holdings, Inc. continues to: provide management services to its affiliates and subsidiaries; research and invest in public securities; research and purchase control positions in private companies and manage its asset portfolio.
