Flintridge Preparatory School

Flintridge Prep School, founded in 1933, is a nonprofit, independent college that offers educational programs to more than 500 students in grades seven through 12. Its facilities include a shop, art room, classrooms, study hall, biology laboratory, swimming pool, library, tennis court, gymnasium, auditorium, college counseling suite, and science and cultural complex that includes four science laboratories and a computer laboratory. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, foreign language, fine arts, and community service. It provides various extracurricular activities, such as ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, music and band. The schools athletics include swimming, golf, water polo, basketball and volleyball. Flintridge Prep School is approved by and is a member of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, California Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools, and is located in La Canada Flintridge, Calif.
