Ernie Pyle Elementary School

Ernie Pyle Elementary School provides educational and extracurricular activities to more than 650 students from grades kindergarten through five. The facilities provided by the school include more than 25 regular education classrooms, two special education classrooms, a multipurpose room, a library, two computer labs and a resource room. The curriculum offered includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, English and science. Ernie Pyle Elementary School also offers on-site staff development programs to train the entire staff as per the directives of Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning. The student enrollment includes a variety of ethnic backgrounds, including Asian, Hispanic, African-American and Caucasian. The school is located in Bellflower, Calif.
