Whitney High School

Whitney High School serves students in grades 7 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. The school supports a variety of extracurricular programs in visual and performing arts, band, chorus, strings, orchestra and physical education. In addition, Whitney High School conducts foreign language programs in Spanish, French, Korean and Japanese. It also supports several sports activities, including soccer, volleyball, cross country, water polo, tennis and basketball. The school operates various student organizations, such as student council and debate, chess, key, history, prom and builders clubs. Located in Cerritos, Calif., Whitney High School provides elective courses in journalism, economics, computer science and creative writing.
