Diablo Valley Foundation for the Aging

History

We began by providing bill-paying services for seniors and added case management and crisis intervention to our comprehensive services. We are the original care management agency in Contra Costa County. Since then we have expanded to provide a wide range of fiduciary and personal services.

Specialties

The Foundation is committed to providing vital services to the elderly in Central Contra Costa County. We assist aging persons who are at risk because they are alone, isolated, pressed by financial problems or are confused. We seek alternatives to institutionalized care, believing that older adults benefit from staying in their own homes as long as possible. We work closely with other services in the community to ensure that residents receive needed services at an affordable cost. We offer five major service components:Geriatric Care Management, Personal Assistants, Private Fiduciary Services and Money Management, Representative Payee and Bill Payer Service, and Valley Oaks Respite Center.
