History

Culinary Adventures came about from a dream to teach kids culinary arts. I have worked with youth for the past 30 years and see a void in their skills as well as their choices for eating. Flaming hot Cheetos and a coke are not qualified as a healthy snack. The opportunity came in early 2013 for the school to take off. I have been working in the school districts, doing private parties and now we are located at The Boys and Girls Club of the Foothills. Our mission is to offer culinary classes for kids in a safe environment that encourages discovery and creativity. Each class builds on kitchen safety, food preparation and cooking fundamentals. This is a place where kids come to learn, have fun and cook together.
