Carson Cogeneration

Carson Cogeneration Company, LP, established in February 1990, operated as a Qualifying Facility ("QF") under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978. This facility was dedicated to selling all electrical generating capacity and power to Southern California Edison under a Power Purchase Agreement. In 2013, the agreement transitioned from a QF to an Exempt Wholesale Generator Agreement. Located in Carson, CA, Carson Cogeneration Company ceased production on 1 June 2017 in readiness for repowering.
