Carlmont High School

Located in Belmont, Calif., Carlmont High School serves more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. With more than 145 members the high school is part of the Sequoia Union High School District. It also offers various academic programs in English, science, geography, history, mathematics and social studies. The school s visual arts courses include drawing, painting, 3-D design, ceramics, photography, computer graphics, art history and studio art. Additionally, the school has a community service and physical education department. Carlmont High School s library collection consists of more than 15,000 books, including curriculum-based non-fiction, and biography sections, and fiction collection. It also has more than 20 networked personal computer workstations offering Internet access, an online library catalog and research database. The school s sports activities include football, hockey, tennis, wrestling, soccer and baseball. .
