History

In 2003 Gera Hasse began running Fourth Street Studio. An artist herself, Hasse has fostered the growth of the forty or so artists working at the studio. Many of the artists have received recognition, both internationally and nationally, for the quality of their work. The studio has been cited in both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, as well as other publications, for its unique contribution to the gallery world In 2013, we relocated down the block to a new building and changed to a cooperative run gallery.

Specialties

4th Street Fine Art is an ongoing collaborative art project, a member based studio, a performance space and an art gallery all rolled into one. As a member based studio/gallery space, we offer memberships to artists, free monthly art receptions, performances and an eclectic variety of art for sale. Our collection of art rotates as each of our members create new work, and we currently house 19 artists. We specialize in painting, jewelry, sculpture and limited edition prints. The public is welcome to view the artists at work & purchase original artwork from Noon - 5 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Call us for an appointment on other days.
