Bay Area Classical Artist Atelier

The Bay Area Classical Artist Atelier (BACAA) is located in San Carlos, California, 30 minutes south of San Francisco, and is dedicated to promoting the practice and education of artists in the Classical Realist tradition. With a state-of-the-art studio featuring a 50-foot wide north-facing window and 20-foot high ceilings, BACAA offers a variety of classes, workshops, and intensive programs for artists of all levels, focusing on drawing and painting from life and master copies.

Founded by artist Linda Dulaney, BACAA provides a supportive and collaborative learning environment that upholds the highest standards of art instruction through workshops taught by master artists. The atelier's mission centers around fostering a deep understanding of the techniques of the Old Masters, with opportunities for drawing and painting from casts, still lifes, and live models, as well as gallery visits to enhance the study of contemporary classical realism.
