Marc Center is a private, nonprofit organization that provides a range of educational, therapeutic, rehabilitative and social services for children and adults with developmental, physical and mental disabilities. The organization has been in operation since 1957 and serves more than 3,100 clients. It offers a variety of community living and behavioral health care services. The organization conducts various life enriching activities that encourages self determination and independence. Marc Center operates through human resources and administration departments. The organization also offers activities for the enhancement of daily living, motor and sensory integration skills. Marc Center provides a selection of Community Support Services for individuals and families in the Greater East Valley.

PREHAB of Arizona, now known as A New Leaf, is a nonprofit human service agency that offers a variety of domestic violence, homeless and youth programs. The agency maintains a staff of more than 400 employees, over 30 board members and several donors and volunteers. A New Leaf offers 24-hour emergency shelter and transitional housing program for victims of domestic violence. Its services include safe housing, nutrition meal, case management, child care, domestic violence and substance abuse counseling, parenting education and life-skills classes. The agency also provides immediate crisis stabilization, evaluation and mediation, referral, after-care follow-up, and individual, family and group counseling services. A New Leaf has been operational since 1971 and maintains a presence in Mesa, Ariz.

The New Foundation, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., is a nonprofit organization that provides behavioral health and education programs to youth and families. The programs are designed to provide services to children and teens of ages eleven through seventeen who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties, as also their families. In most cases, the children being abused are brought to The New Foundation through child protective services, the court system for domestic violence or substance abuse issues and directly from the parents. The organization programs to help the youth and their families grow emotionally and behaviorally in the least restrictive environment possible. It provides the tools to the children that they need to make better choices. Its facility and programs have been accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
