To start I needed an ACCESS pass, which they offer at Coronado Park, if you're disabled & can prove you are they give you a lifetime membership no cost entrance fees to over 2,000 national parks...

This is definitely an underrated park! The visitor center has restrooms, a water fountain, and exhibits explaining the history of the park, as well as chain mail and hats if you want to dress up...
