This is a great trail to see the sights when visiting Anchorage Alaska. We rode this trail on bicycles and had a fantastic time.

The trail Joy G describes, is also known as "Ship Creek Trail" but it is very much an underdeveloped wilderness trail near the Arctic Valley ski area (much higher up), you can read more about it...

Beautiful park. You can easily spend all day exploring and not be done. It has many signs so you won't get lost. Kids and dogs friendly.

Close to the hotel where I usually stay, I can get a quick ride and back in 1hr. Beautiful view along the creek.
