History

Adventure Appetites, the idea, was conceived and fine tuned over a multi-year period while the owners, Dan Oberlatz & Aaron Fetter, guided clients and cooked for them all over Alaska under their company Alaska Alpine Adventures! Adventure Appetites, the business, opened doors on May 15, 2012. Both Dan and Aaron agree that tasty, creatively packaged, and Alaska inspired food has proven to be a critical factor in the success of Alaska Alpine Adventures. So with the growth of adventure travel, and no shortage of outdoor-hungry Alaskans who get out A LOT, it didn't take long to realize that these independent Alaskans (burdened with planning, purchasing, and packing food for their trips) needed Adventure Appetites! They just didn't know it...

Adventure Appetites' has redefined the art of cooking and enjoying food in the great outdoors. Our refined menu can serve every type of outdoor enthusiast. Whether you are going on a sheep hunt, a 10-day backpacking trip, a RV weekend getaway, or just heading to the cabin to enjoy some down time, our food delivers time and time again. Our Ready to Ship Menu consists of more shelf stable meals suitable for shipping anywhere in the USA. All of our meals come in 1 or 2 REAL serving size portions. Our menu was created not only to be healthy, filling, and delicious, but also to appeal to a wide vary of tastes. For more than a decade, we've worked to perfect cuisine meant to be cooked and savored in the great outdoors. We use only the finest and freshest ingredients from a host of preferred suppliers. Our food delivers time and time again, because we use REAL ingredients and REAL sauces.
