Lynn Hammonds, OD

Dr. Christine White practices at EyeCare Associates in Hoover, AL. A summa cum laude graduate of Samford University, she earned her Doctor of Optometry from UAB School of Optometry in 2004. Dr. White received the Goodkin Border and Associates Low Vision Award and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She provides comprehensive eye care, including pediatric services and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Ashley Savage is a primary care optometrist at EyeCare Associates in Hoover, AL. She earned her BS in Biological Sciences from Stillman College, where she was an NCAA Division II dual-sport athlete, and her Doctor of Optometry from UAB School of Optometry in 2020. Dr. Savage completed a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Memphis VA Medical Center, focusing on conditions like glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. She provides comprehensive eye care, including glasses and contact lens fittings, and is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Barry Curtis is a primary care optometrist at EyeCare Associates, serving patients in Birmingham and Hoover, AL. He earned both his BS in Biology and Doctorate of Optometry from UAB, where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. His clinical training emphasized ocular disease and complex contact lens fittings. Outside the clinic, Dr. Curtis enjoys playing music, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with his dog, Chuy.
