Our branch is situated on the high street in the popular village area of Tunbridge Wells. Royal Tunbridge Wells, previously just Tunbridge Wells, is a town in western Kent, England, 40 miles south-east of central London, close to the border with East Sussex upon the northern edge of the High Weald, whose sandstone geology is exemplified by the rock formations at the Wellington Rocks and High Rocks. It became Royal as it was one of Queen Victoria's favourite towns. T he town lies in the heart of the beautiful High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The High Weald has many picturesque towns and villages amid the rolling hills, ancient woods and open heaths. From our High Street branch it is a short walk from the famous Pantiles where there are a fabulous array of shops, bars and restaurants. The town of Tunbridge Wells offers a vast range of shopping facilities and the mainline train station with commuter services to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street. Road access to the A21 provides access to the main road network onto the M25 and national motorway network with connections to London Heathrow and Gatwick airports, the Channel Tunnel and ferry ports.

The village of Robertsbridge is thought to date back to 1176, when a Cistercian abbey was founded there by Abbott Robert De St Martin. The name Robertsbridge was first used in 1198 when Richard I granted a market charter. The abbey was dissolved in 1538, however, the village flourished and many of the oldest houses in the village date back to the 14th and 15th centuries. The characterful high street boasts a collection of wonderful houses and cottages.
