Freeman Forman's Robertsbridge office is situated right on the High Street, near to Senlac Vets and Judges Bakery. Freeman Forman has been in the village for many years and pride themselves on their long-standing position in the village and their wide range of local knowledge, with Matthew, Charlotte & Carl making up the friendly team. Robertsbridge is a thriving community with a friendly village feel and there is plenty to do and get involved in. There are many societies and clubs and an active bonfire society that have their annual bonfire in mid-November every year – a must-see event. There is also a Christmas Capers event where shops and houses open throughout the evening to offer Christmas activities & there is a Christmas procession through the High Street. The high street offers a variety of shops including a Post Office, pharmacy, artisan coffee shop and convenience stores. There is also an excellent selection of pubs within the village and surrounding areas. The area supports several good state and private schools. The village of Robertsbridge is thought to date back to 1176, when a Cistercian abbey was founded there by Abbott Robert De St Martin. The name Robertsbridge was first used in 1198 when Richard I granted a market charter. The abbey was dissolved in 1538, however, the village flourished and many of the oldest houses in the village date back to the 14th and 15th centuries. The characterful high street boasts a collection of wonderful houses and cottages.

Royal Tunbridge Wells, previously just Tunbridge Wells, is a town in western Kent, England, 40 miles south-east of central London, close to the border with East Sussex upon the northern edge of the High Weald, whose sandstone geology is exemplified by the rock formations at the Wellington Rocks and High Rocks. It became Royal as it was one of Queen Victoria's favourite towns. T he town lies in the heart of the beautiful High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The High Weald has many picturesque towns and villages amid the rolling hills, ancient woods and open heaths. From our High Street branch it is a short walk from the famous Pantiles where there are a fabulous array of shops, bars and restaurants. The town of Tunbridge Wells offers a vast range of shopping facilities and the mainline train station with commuter services to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street. Road access to the A21 provides access to the main road network onto the M25 and national motorway network with connections to London Heathrow and Gatwick airports, the Channel Tunnel and ferry ports.

Tonbridge is one of our busiest branches with a thriving local community, many base themselves there and commute daily into the city. Tonbridge is a thriving market town and is incredibly popular with commuters due to the excellent and regular train services into the city from the town centre station. The town boasts a fine example of a 'Motte and Bailey' Norman castle built in the 13th century, set on the banks of the river Medway with the castle grounds abutting Tonbridge Park offering covered/open air swimming pool, tennis courts, children's play areas, miniature railway, putting etc. Tonbridge offers an excellent range of retail and leisure activities with many High Street stores, banks and building societies, coffee shops, restaurants and local inns. The mainline station provides fast commuter links into London (Cannon Street, London Bridge and Charing Cross in approximately 40 minutes) with road links to the M20 and M25 motorways via the nearby A26 and A21. Tonbridge offers first-rate primary and secondary schooling, including grammar and public Schools, many of which perform consistently well in the league tables. There are superb insights into old England waiting for you at Tonbridge and West Malling. Idyllic manor houses and a postcard-pretty castle sit in an ancient landscape where woods and fields undulate towards villages and hop farms.
