Cochrane Family Farm

A beautiful 30 acre permaculture based organic certified farm on the banks of the Stewiacke River in the heart of Upper Stewiacke. We offer farm fresh vegetables, heirloom seeds, and medicinal and culinary herbal products through a delivery system, at farmer's markets, and our farm store. You can also find our products in other stores located around Nova Scotia.We have an on farm country store with over 300 organic and local food items and are open for tours. Throughout the year we offer several workshops and on farm activities, like our very popular Christmas at the Farm "Market and Social". New for 2021 we have launched a Garden Center located here on farm as well with organic certified transplants grown by us plus tools, soils, fertilizers, hanging baskets, shrubs, perennials, trees, berry & fruit bushes and more.
