Visitors interested in an in-depth look at Walt should check the schedule to see what the current Spotlight Talk is; past talks have focused on his honorary degrees, his various animated films and his love for trains.

Admission to The Walt Disney Family Museum
Adult admission is $20-$25, while students and seniors pay about $15-$20. Children under 6 get in free, while admission for kids 6-17 is $12-$15. Active and retired military members and their families get in free.

Parking and public transportation to The Walt Disney Family Museum
The Presidio has street parking and there's a large parking lot, Main Post, in front of the museum, so parking here is relatively easy. There are also several public transportation options. The PresidiGo Shuttle is free and takes visitors all around the Presidio. Both the Downtown and Around the Park routes serve The Walt Disney Family Museum. San Francisco's MUNI bus has three stops near the museum: 45, 43 and 28. Finally, Golden Gate Transit buses 4, 10, 24, 54, 70, 72, 101 and 101x all stop at the corner of Richardson Avenue and Francisco Street, a short walk from the museum.
