The Wyoming Girl Guards is a ceremonial drill company that was formed in 1889 and 1890 in anticipation of Wyoming's statehood, making it one of the first all-women companies with direct ties to the military. They were mustered into Army service for the statehood celebration in 1890 and have since been reorganized, consisting of active or retired members of the Wyoming Army and Air National Guard.

Company K and Company H of the Girl Guards played significant roles as Guard of Honor for the State Flag and the state car during the statehood celebration, respectively. Today, each member of the Wyoming Girl Guards represents an original member of the historic Girl Guards, preserving their legacy and contributing to the state's military heritage.
