Wyoming Diesel Service (WDS) was started as a sole proprietorship in 1968 by James W King (Butch) when he became certified as an Automotive Dealer for Cummins Engine Co. WDS has maintained and grown with this certification to the present day. In 1988 WDS became a certified Caterpillar Truck Engine dealer; this too continues to be a beneficial part of the company's success. WDS was incorporated in 1994 and still operates as a closed corporation registered within the state of Wyoming.
