Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery

The Wyoming Veterans Cemetery in Evansville was established in 1983 and is available for the burial of veterans who have received any discharge other than dishonorable from the US armed forces, along with their eligible family members. The cemetery provides burial plots on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge and offers a grave vault for casket interments at no cost.

All burial services are conducted in the chapel and patio area, with services scheduled for weekdays only. The cemetery follows National Cemetery Administration regulations, allowing only flat granite grave markers provided by the US government for individual grave markings.
