Midway Geyser Basin in Between, WY is home to a small collection of mammoth-sized springs, including the famous Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser. Despite its small size, Midway boasts two of the largest hot springs in the world, with Grand Prismatic Spring nearly 370 feet in diameter and Excelsior Geyser discharging over 4050 gallons of boiling water per minute.

Smelly, but lots to see ! We were there at the very end of the season and the parking lot was empty. The boardwalks were fairly empty. It was great to have it mostly to ourselves!

When you get here there are two sections: the Back Basin which is the larger of the two and has the Steamboat Geyser which is the popular attraction here, and the Porcelain Basin which is smaller....
