Drivers License Department

The Wyoming Department of Transportation is responsible for planning and designing, contract administration, materials design and testing, property acquisition, and fiscal programming and cost accounting services. It administers a driver services program that maintains records systems for testing, issuing and processing drivers licenses and identification cards. The department operates an airport section that supports federal and state-aid funds for public-use airports and also assists in airport construction and maintenance projects. The Wyoming Department of Transportation s information center undertakes the planning and supervising of road improvement work, as well as maintains the roads and provides law enforcement on highways. It additionally manages vehicle registration programs, and supports airports and aviation sectors in the state. The department is headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyo.
