The hours reflect the NPS visitor center in Lovell, WY, whereas the actual recreation area is not locked or guarded. The visitor center has a relief map of Bighorn Canyon and the surrounding areas...

This is a great recreational area with so much to see, you could easily spend a full day here. Be on the lookout for the namesake Bighorn as well as Pronghorn and wild horses. The Devil's Canyon...
