Afton is a town in Lincoln County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 1,818 at the 2000 census. Afton is home to the world's largest elk horn arch. Spanning 75 feet (23 m) across the four lanes of US Highway 89, the arch consists of 3,011 elk antlers and weighs 15 tons.

Afton was founded by Mormon settlers along the Lander cutoff of the Oregon Trail.

Afton is located at 42°43?42?N 110°55?45?W / 42.72833°N 110.92917°W / 42.72833; -110.92917 (42.728321, -110.929041) at 6,267 feet (1,910 m) in elevation. It is the largest city in Star Valley, a grassland valley in forested mountains.
