Travel along U.S. Highway 789 south of Riverton and you'll find a nugget of Wyoming history. In 1991, 789 SmokeShop and Casino was the first legalized gaming establishment in Wyoming with a bingo hall being at the cornerstone. It has brought many employment opportunities to the Wind River Indian Reservation and served as a launch pad for economic development and gaming in our state that continues to this day.
