Since going into business for myself in 2006, I remain a sole proprietor Architect who believes all projects can be inspirational based upon their location and context. Inspired originality because I believe 'different is good'. As I became a Certified Passive House Consultant in 2011, I believe all new construction must meet a very high level of performance so that the building is not only more durable it is exceptionally comfortable for its occupants - and no sacrifice to remaining inspirational and pleasing to its owner and occupants.

All work is performed with the intent of the high performance, quality, comfort, health, function, purpose and appearance for the benefit of my customers and the surrounding environment. As a Certified Passive House Consultant, I have the training, knowledge and commitment to design, energy model and direct quality criteria for the most rigourous, lowest energy demand voluntary building energy standard on Earth. As an International Code Council (ICC) Certified Building Official, I have the experience and knowledge to assist building owners and fellow design professional efficiently and effectively design buildings in compliance with adopted ICC model or State of Wisconsin and Illinois written codes.
