Wisconsin Humane Society is a private, nonprofit organization that has been providing services for animal foe more than 125 years. It offers lifesaving medical care for more than 18,000 animals annually, including over 5,000 wild animals. It provides veterinary assistance program for animal that includes physical examination, initial vaccinations and parasite control. It has a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center that offers treatment for sick and injured animals of more than 145 different species annually. Additionally, it provides educational programs for children and adults to protect animal neglect and abuse.
