History
The 2018 Fair will mark the 167th year of this Wisconsin tradition. The first Fair was held in Janesville on a six-acre plot of land. It then moved from city to city until 1892 when it settled at the current site of Wisconsin State Fair Park. Created by the Wisconsin Bakers Association in 1924 and a favorite tradition for Fairgoers, the iconic Cream Puff is the longest selling item at the Fair.
