Located in Milwaukee, the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is an independent, nonprofit school that offers music educational services for individuals and professional performers. Founded in 1899, the school conducts classical, jazz and rock music classes. It offers scholarships and financial assistance for disadvantaged people. The school provides private and group lessons for guitar, piano and strings. It has a music library that stocks more than 20,000 books and over 25,000 videotapes and CDs. The school organizes concerts, workshops and seminars on topics related to recording and voice modulation. It offers music therapy to meet the emotional, cognitive and social needs of people. The school provides rental space for various events, including wedding receptions, business meetings and social gatherings.
