The birth of Tulaya occurred while sitting on the sands of a beach with my friend and mentor. We were dreaming of a healing center, a place where one could be at peace and find their life's balance. Tula, meaning balance, and laya meaning oneness of mind. We contemplated tula laya until we chose to merge those aspects, just as we wished for practice as healers to merge our eastern philosophies and western training.Tulaya was born that day.
