Terra Gahlman is a board-certified physician assistant practicing in hand and upper extremity surgery. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her master's in physician assistant studies from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. Terra’s medical interests include carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, deformity correction, Dupuytren’s disease, trigger finger, wrist, thumb, and hand arthritis, bursitis, cortisone injections, fracture nonunion, fractures, osteomyelitis, osteoporosis, skeletal trauma, strains and sprains, amputations, and tendonitis. Terra is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Terra enjoys spending time with her fiancée and her cat, Sushi, who is very spoiled. She also likes watching movies with family and spending time outside hiking or by the lake. Terra enjoys traveling and seeing other parts of the country. She has taken a few trips outside of the US with a favorite being Iceland which was particularly beautiful and memorable. Katie and her partner, Kevin, have six nieces and nephews whom they adore! They also have a dog and two cats. In her time away from work, besides being a beekeeper, she enjoys hiking, biking, yoga, cross country skiing, cooking, hobby farming, listening to music, and watching movies. Katie is involved with many community groups including Second Harvest Food Bank, Primates, Inc., NAMI, and the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. They love to travel. Their favorites have been seeing the Hubbard Glacier calving in Alaska, which they reported as awesome, and experiencing the amazing rain forest in Costa Rica.
