History
Tandem opened in August of 2015, owners George Koenig and Anastasia Burkham took over the former retail wine and liquor shop, McKnight & Carlson, with a vision of taking the space to a new level. The couple redesigned the space with an industrial aesthetic and are integrating a tasting bar into the space open for the public to taste wine, beer and fine spirits and liquors, all of which are for purchase to take home. The tasting bar which opened in the fall of 2015, offers cheese, charcuterie and other small bites taking cues from European traditional wine bars, but highlighting local products, foremost our state's artisanal cheeses.
Specialties
Located just west of Downtown Appleton Tandem offers over 800 different labels of wine along with a unique selection of international and craft beer and spirits.

Love this place! Great vibe very good selection and awesome owner. He has an amazing easter sale great wines for 8 to 12 dollars per bottle for every day and also has some wonderful special...

A quirky and difficult to find location that epitomizes Wisconsin. Is it a bar? Is it a liquor store? I have no clue but fell in love with the place anyway.

Fun eclectic atmosphere. Great wine & beer options. Great patio space on nice weather days. Hours can be inconsistent though so that limits our ability to go here.
