Super Sky s hurricane resistant skylight systems have been certified by Miami-Dade County in Florida for both large and small missile impact since 1999. Super Sky offers a variety of custom skylight systems, including standard dome, pyramid, and ridge skylights. In conjunction with its family of skylights, the corporation integrates special features to enhance its designs, including window washing/gantry system, sun shades, trellis systems, cladding, louvers and vent windows. The company also creates special environments with a custom enclosure for most imaginable applications. Its completed projects include the Milwaukee Art Museum Addition; Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum in Chicago; S.U.N.Y in Albany, N.Y.; Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tenn.; The Pepsi Center in Denver; and the Sandra Day O Connor Courthouse in Phoenix. The company is a subsidiary of Vitro America, a fabricator, distributor, and installer of glass in the construction, automotive replacement, and furniture markets.
