Jay Hartz started Cottage Motors as an independent used vehicle operation in January 2013 specializing in 4wd trucks and SUV's. Prior to that he was invested in 3 dealerships in Los Angeles for a period of years with his brother Phil and Roger Penske Jr. He purchased Reilly Chevrolet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in May 2016. Roger Daume, GM, has been with Jay from the start as has most of Jay's employees.
