History

Founded by Robert Mayer & Max Steir We arrived as freshmen at the University of Michigan in 2009 and in 2013 with graduation approaching, we decided it was time to solve the day to day challenge of finding quick and quality healthy food options. Throughout our college experience, we knew healthy options for people on the go were missing. These options were not just missing in Ann Arbor but in tradition rich college towns that were in the heart of great cities nationwide. On an ordinary day during our senior year we entered Starbucks to have a coffee. An hour later we left with a vision, and began creating Salads UP. As restaurant rookies we were in for a challenge, but 18 months later our vision became a reality when the first Salads UP opened in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Then we did it again opening Salads UP location two in Madison, Wisconsin. The journey continues. Come in and say S'UP.
