History

My name is Rachel Paulus and I founded Reverie Photography because of my passion for the art of photography. Over time I've had the opportunity to photograph various sessions. I've developed a love for photographing young families and high school seniors. Let me explain. I love photographing young families because of the beautiful chaos and unpredictability that comes with each one. Each session is so unique and I love that I can't make them all cookie cutter. I love photographing high school seniors because it's the beginning of the end! This is the age where personal expression is so important and I get to portray each individual. Figuring out how to photograph someone's uniqueness comes with it's own challenges, which I appreciate. I'm an on-location photographer, and enjoy it immensely. It's quite the luxury for my clients since we can go and hand pick the places that fit their tastes vs. using backdrops that every other family uses.
