Prairie School

Prairie School is a college preparatory day school that governs primary, middle and high schools. The school curriculum includes honors courses in various science subjects, including environmental science, biology, chemistry and physical science. Prairie School also provides elective courses that include accounting, symphonic band, concert orchestra, art history, music theory and studio art. The school s library provides a range of books, newspapers, encyclopedias and Internet access to students. Its athletics department s programs include basketball, volleyball, football, golf, cross country and tennis. Prairie School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. The school is approved by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation. Prairie School is located in Racine, Wis.
