Pewaukee Fire Department

Established in 1876, the Pewaukee Fire Department offers fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services for residents. The department preserves and protects residents lives and their properties. It is affiliated with the Waukesha County Fire Chief's Association, Wisconsin Chief's Education Association, National Fire Protection Association, Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety and Wisconsin Fire Inspectors Association. The Pewaukee Fire Department operates administration and training divisions. The department also maintains a prevention bureau that provides fire and life safety education for the community. It assists local and national groups, as well as organizes fundraising events. The Pewaukee Fire Department conducts fire extinguisher training, child car seat inspections and juvenile fire-setter educational sessions. The department maintains a location in Waukesha, Wis.
