Northcentral Technical College, founded in 1912, provides technical diplomas, and associate degree and certificate programs to more than 4,000 students. The various programs offered by the college include sales marketing and management, accounting, residential plumbing, electricity, automotive technology, carpentry, construction, dental assisting, criminal justice and business studies. It also provides training programs in administrative assistance, engine machining, industrial model making, and welding and hospitality management. The college also provides residential and dining facilities, financial aid and career counseling to students. Northcentral Technical College is located in Wausau, Wis., and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the North Central Association.
