Founded in 1977, Milwaukee Community Sailing Center offers diverse sailing and boating options to its members. It arranges for sailboat rides for individuals, group outings, special events an adaptive sailing for children with disabilities. The sailing center's fleet consists of over 80 boats, including ensign, soling, j-24, c&c-27, international 470 and various dinghies and safety boats. Milwaukee Community Sailing Center also offers private boat owners boat/dinghy storage, mast stepping, launching and haul-out services, in addition to holding racing events and sailing lessons for its members.
