Mead Swimming Pool

Mead Pool, a part of the Park and Recreation Department, is located in Appleton, Wis. The pool is heated and features a zero-depth wading and swimming area, lap lanes, a diving board and pool water play attractions. Its facilities include a sand volleyball court, off-street parking, bike racks, privacy changing cubicles and showers. Mead Pool has a concession stand that offers a variety of food items, such as hot dogs, hamburgers, candy, ice cream and popcorn. The Appleton Park and Recreation Department provides leisure services and facilities and manages recreation al programs for youths, adults and seniors. The department is responsible for the operation of all city parks, recreation trails, golf courses and special recreation areas and also manages a street tree program.
