Stephen McAvoy, MD, FACOG, is an obstetric and gynecologic physician with Ascension Medical Group. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. McAvoy has a special interest in minimally-invasive surgery, pregnancy care, preventative medicine, contraception, pap smear abnormalities, urinary incontinence, menopause, and da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery. He has the goal of building a long-term relationship that allows him to personalize care to best serve a woman's overall health. He believes that having the most advanced techniques and up-to-date information ensures that he can offer the same high quality care he would want for his own family members.
