Mark is currently traveling internationally and is accepting new students for virtual lessons online- Mark has been teaching and playing music for a living the past 20 years. He has garnered a great deal of experience teaching at Blue Bear School of Music in SF for the last 15 of those years. He is comfortable teaching kids and adults, from square one beginner to intermediate players of guitar, bass and ukulele. Mark is also available for beginning drum and piano lessons. Mark's style is laid back, patient and humorous. Music requires discipline but should be fun. He can cover sight reading, playing by ear, learning popular tunes on the fly, technique and music theory as it applies to your instrument. Mark's teaching is also peppered with the experience of being a 20-year performer and touring musician who has played on or produced 12 Bay Area albums with groups like Guitarmageddon, Fatcat, Shim Sham Rebellion, Crackerjack Highway and The New up.
