Marathon Area Swim Assn

Based in Marathon, Wis., Marathon Area Swim Association was founded in 1986. It has a facility measuring over 10,000 square feet of space and organizes several preschool, progressive and special swim classes for the trainees. Its main pool is 25 yards long, 6 lanes wide and has a depth ranging from 3.5 feet to 9.3 feet. In addition, Marathon Area Swim Association offers water exercise programs for men and women, combining the elements of movement, music and water to improve muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular performance. Some of its preschool programs include Water Babies, Tiny Tots and Novice. Its progressive programs focus on aspects, including water skills, stroke development and stroke improvements.
