Suburban Studio has operated as a full portrait studio since 1968. We have 3 main portrait areas in the studio, low key, traditional backdrops, high key on white and a country set. Suburban Studio has portable equipment as well for weddings, business portraits on site, Special Event photography, etc. Our photographers love to work outside as well, whether it be your favorite local park, your home or location of your choice. HistoryThe owner of Sunbox Photography, Austin Cochran, is a Madison Wisconsin based photographer that got his start in glamour and editorial photography in Los Angeles and has shot for celebrities and brands including Moby, Austen Winkler of Hinder, Piggy D (guitarist) of Rob Zombie, Black Star Beer, Elevated Clothing and Morgan Bacall Clothing. Austin found a love for photography after being exposed to professional photography in his other careers as a modeland lead singer of a national band. Growing up in a family with many pets including ducks, rabbits, birds, dogs, cats, snakes, cows, a raccoon, a wolf and several other not so ordinary animals running around the yard; Austin decided to integrate his love of animals with his love of photography to create a new and editorial style of pet photography.SpecialtiesWe are a professional wedding photography, pet, portrait, holiday, real estate, and child photography studio. A shoot with us will capture memories that you will cherish for a lifetime. Your shoot can be held in your home, on location, around Portland, or in our studio. We want your photo shoot with your pets to be a fun, relaxed and playful experience - unless, of course, your pet isn't the playful type. Chances are we won't be playing fetch with your iguana. We encourage you to interact and play with your pet during the shoot, whether you opt to be in the photos or not. Events are also our specialty. Whether it's a wedding, engagement or family photos, we can capture those memories as well.
