The Living Environmental Foundation operates a variety of rehabilitation facilities for senior citizens and individuals with mental health problems. The foundation governs a five-plus-bed transitional unit, Townline Road Residence, which teaches independent living skills. The unit provides training in various areas, such as housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, grooming and medication management. It offers supervision services 24 hours a day. In addition, Townline Road Residence schedules visits to local restaurants, banks, post offices, libraries and theaters. The Living Environmental Foundation operates Oxford Street Residence, which provides a range of laundry and recreational solutions, as well as assists in room cleaning.
